I’m Megan Swan, and my journey to optimal wellness—and to founding MSW (Megan Swan Wellness)—has been anything but linear. After five years in Toronto’s non-profit sector, an unshakable intuitive nudge convinced me to sell everything and move to Mexico. What began as my personal “Eat, Pray, Love” sabbatical turned into 15 years of building a life, several businesses, and a deeper understanding of what sustainable wellbeing truly means.
Over a decade ago, as a new mom and longtime yoga teacher, I was exhausted and stuck. Reopening my studio after baby number two no longer felt expansive, so I enrolled in a coaching certification and launched a health-and-wellness magazine. Both were stepping-stones, yet I still sensed a bigger mission calling.
That mission crystallized into MSW: empowering female founders, leaders, and forward-thinking companies to make wellness a personalized, sustainable, and non-negotiable growth strategy. I believe there’s no one-size-fits-all formula; optimal wellness must fit the modern woman and the demands of her business or career.
Today, I guide powerhouse women away from quick-fix “solutions” and toward fully integrated habits that make wellness a way of life. When you feel strong physically, mentally, and emotionally—while staying spiritually connected—you gain the energy, clarity, and confidence to make bold decisions, whether that’s scaling a company, changing careers, or moving across continents.
At MSW, we see wellness alignment as the ultimate rebel move in a world that’s overworked, distracted, and running on autopilot. Your wellbeing is your greatest asset—in life and in business—and we won’t know our full potential until we treat self-care as productivity. As we strip away everyday toxins and old stories of self-doubt, an untapped reservoir of energy and grounded ease emerges.
Growing up, I never imagined becoming a CEO, let alone helping other women execute their most expansive visions. But stepping outside my comfort zone showed me what’s possible, and now I help others do the same.
