How to Master Mindfully Drink through the Corporate Holiday Season

Holiday parties, drinks with friends and social commitments galore! This is overwhelming on our systems and our energy reserves. Here are 5 ways to help you navigate the non-negotiable holiday parties this year:

  1. Arrive late + leave early, you will save yourself a few rounds.
  2. Order food or make sure to load up a plate of veggies to munch at the beginning of the night.
  3. Order a sparkling water with a slice of lime in a highball glass, you might be surprised how few will notice, or think to question what you are drinking.
  4. Pre and post events buffer your system with two waters (no bubbles) and one green juice for every glass of wine you drink.
  5. Decide now how many nights a week you need to recharge, one? Two? Three? Don’t be afraid to say you can’t and only commit to the events that are essential or you are genuinely excited about.

Avoid making this holiday season just another thing you feel like you have to recover from.
